A few things to know
Is R3 Studio free?
Guest voice recording and waveform editing are free without signing in. A Free account adds saved projects and 250 MB of cloud storage. Creator and Studio add transcription, editing by words, and automatic cloud backup for video media.
Are my recordings uploaded?
Imported video and its working files use private device storage while you edit. Signed-in paid projects can back source media up to private Cloudflare R2 storage. Transcription runs on your device, and your audio is not uploaded for transcription.
What does signing in do?
An account keeps workspaces, scripts, production tasks, and available cloud media with your account. Creator and Studio unlock local transcription, editing by words, and automatic video backup. The generative voice service is an optional add-on.
Does the website use analytics?
R3 Studio uses Google Analytics for page traffic.
Can I delete a sentence from the recording?
Yes. After transcription, select words or a sentence and choose Delete words & audio. Undo restores both. Word timings are approximate, so listen to your edits and use the waveform to refine a cut.
How do I keep a copy of my work?
Audio can be exported as WAV, and the video timeline can render a downloadable video in supported browsers. Signed-in projects save account data and eligible media privately; device storage remains the fast working copy. Guest sessions remain temporary.
Do I need to install a desktop app?
No. Use a modern browser with WebAssembly and private file-system storage support. Microphone access is needed only for recording. Transcription and video export performance depend on your device and browser capabilities.
